1️⃣ Who Can Bring Dependent Visa
- Postgraduate (Master’s / PhD) students can bring family
- Undergraduate students usually cannot bring dependents
2️⃣ Eligible Dependents
- Spouse
- Children (under 17–18 years)
- Mother
- Father

- Siblings
- Parents-in-law
- Fiancé / girlfriend / boyfriend
3️⃣ Main Requirements
- Valid Student Pass
- Minimum 6 months validity
- Full-time course enrollment
- Proof of relationship (marriage/birth certificate)
- Valid passport of dependent
- University confirmation (if required)
4️⃣ Visa Duration
- Usually valid for 1 year
- Linked to student visa validity
5️⃣ Application Process
- Student Pass must be approved first
- Apply via university or Immigration
- Approval from Immigration
- Dependent travels to Malaysia
- Dependent Pass stamped
6️⃣Dependent Pass
- Sponsor (Student) must have a valid Student Pass
- Prepare required documents (marriage/birth certificate, passport copies)
- Provide financial proof (bank statement / savings — around RM30,000 recommended, not mandatory)
- Apply through university or authorized agent
- Approval from Immigration Department
- Dependent travels to Malaysia
- Dependent Pass stamped on passport
