The government has reintroduced a 6% SST (Sales and Service Tax) on tuition fees for students in Malaysia from 1 July 2025.
- Effective Date: 1 July 2025
- Tax Rate: 6% Service Tax (SST)
- Who is affected:
- International (Non-Malaysian) students
- Private and international school / college / university education services
