Child Student Visa & Guardian / Dependent Visa in Malaysia
Child Student Visa
When a child enrolls in a school in Malaysia, they receive a Student Pass (Student Visa). This is usually issued for studying in international or private schools.
Guardian / Dependent Visa
One parent (father or mother) can stay in Malaysia under a Guardian Pass or Dependent Pass. However, this visa usually does not allow the parent to work.
Who Can Apply
Only one parent can apply as a guardian. This allows them to stay with the child while the child studies in Malaysia.
Visa Criteria
The child must be enrolled in a registered international school and have an approved Student Pass. The parent must have a valid passport and may need proof of accommodation.
