HOW TO APPLY

13 EASY STEPS TO APPLY STUDY IN MALAYSIA

1. Choose your Course

Decide and fix the Subject that you want to study. (e.g. Business, IT, Engineering, Hospitality etc.)

2. Select your expected School/College/University

Search Malaysian Educational Institution. Like:

  • University of Malaya
  • Fairview International School

3. Check Entry Requirements

Each University has different requirements (Academic Results + English Proficiency like IELTS).

4. Prepare Required Documents

Common documents include:

  • Passport Copy
  • Academic Certificates & Transcripts
  • Passport Size Photo
  • English Test Result (If needed)

5. Submit Application

Apply online or through an Agent to your selected Institution.

6. Get Offer Letter

After reviewing all of your documents, the Institution will give you an Official Offer Letter. Then the procedure will start.

7. Application through EMGS

After getting all of your documents, the Ministry of Higher Education in Malaysia processes the procedure through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS). You may also check your Application Status through EMGS Hub App.

8. Apply for your Student Pass (e-Visa)

You need to apply for your e-Visa from your native country through Authorized Agent or online.

9. Submit your 1st Semester or 1 Year Tuition Fees

Depends on your Institution; you need to pay Tuition Fees, International Student Fees, Registration Fees, University Deposit etc.

10. Book your Flight

Book your flight after getting Student Pass (e-Visa) and send the flight details to your Institution 7 days prior of your journey.

11. Arrange Accommodation

Choose hostel, shared apartment or private housing.

12. Execute Medical Check-Up

You may need a medical screening before and after arrival.

13. Complete Registration at your Institution

Complete final registration and start your classes.
